Compared to conventional horizontal or vertical sewage pumps, submersible sewage pumps offer the following significant advantages:
1. Compact structure and small footprint. Because they operate submerged, submersible sewage pumps can be installed directly in the sewage tank, eliminating the need for a dedicated pump room to house the pump and motor, saving significant land and infrastructure costs.
2. Easy installation and maintenance. Small sewage pumps can be installed freely, while large ones are generally equipped with automatic coupling devices for automated installation, making installation and maintenance very convenient.
3. Long continuous operation time. Because the pump and motor are coaxial, the shaft is short, and the rotating parts are lightweight, the radial load on the bearings is relatively small, resulting in a much longer lifespan than conventional pumps.
4. No problems with cavitation damage or water inflow. The latter point, in particular, greatly facilitates operators.
